All proceeds from the Community Living Essex County Charity Golf Classic are directed towards our Summer Support program. This program provides meaningful summer opportunities for children and youth in Essex County with intellectual disabilities to participate in activities alongside their friends.

Charity Golf Classic on track for another successful year!
We are thrilled to announce we are hosting our 34th Annual Charity Golf Classic on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Sutton Creek Golf Club in McGregor. We will welcome golfers from across Essex County to compete for amazing prizes, and watch as municipal leaders vie to win the coveted Municipal Cup. Who will win the challenge this year? Will it be a three-peat for the Municipality of Lakeshore – represented in 2025 by Mayor Tracey Bailey, Deputy Mayor Kirk Walstedt, CAO Tyson Cragg and Bill Bailey – or will another municipality dethrone the winners?
The funds raised from the tournament help us to provide support to families with school age children and teens throughout the summer months, allowing youth with intellectual disabilities to be involved in summer activities with their friends.

2026 Details:
Check-in for the tournament begins at 9:30 a.m. Participants are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for registration, warm-up, and to enjoy pre-tournament activities. The tournament will officially kick off with a shotgun start at 11:00 a.m.
Participants can look forward to a well-organized day of golf at one of the region’s premier courses, complete with contests, prizes, dinner, and networking opportunities. Whether you are a seasoned golfer or a casual player, your involvement helps make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people Community Living Essex County supports.
