All proceeds from the Community Living Essex County Charity Golf Classic are directed towards supports and services available to more than 700 people with an intellectual disability and their families throughout Essex County.
Registration is now open for the 34th Annual Charity Golf Classic! Join us on Thursday, July 19 at Sutton Creek Golf Course. Registration includes 18 holes of golf, cart rental, hotdog lunch and dinner!

Charity Golf Classic on track for another successful year!
We are thrilled to announce we are hosting our 34th Annual Charity Golf Classic on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Sutton Creek Golf Club in McGregor. We will welcome golfers from across Essex County to compete for amazing prizes, and watch as municipal leaders vie to win the coveted Municipal Cup. Who will win the challenge this year? Will it be a three-peat for the Municipality of Lakeshore – represented in 2025 by Mayor Tracey Bailey, Deputy Mayor Kirk Walstedt, CAO Tyson Cragg and Bill Bailey – or will another municipality dethrone the winners?
The funds raised from the tournament help us to provide support to families with school age children and teens throughout the summer months, allowing youth with intellectual disabilities to be involved in summer activities with their friends.
